Websites

Which website does your business in Georgia need?

A salon needs bookings, a supplier needs quote requests and a shop needs orders. Start with the customer’s action: it determines the website format and scope.

Define a visitor’s task

A small workshop may only need services, work examples, an address and a contact button. A supplier with dozens of products needs a catalog with specifications. If customers must choose delivery and pay without speaking to a manager, the project needs a store with a broader scope.

Write down where visitors will come from, what they need to learn and what they should do next. ‘A beautiful website’ does not define a project. ‘Choose a service and submit an inquiry’ gives it a usable goal.

Match the format to the customer journey

  • Brochure site — a short business introduction, contact details and a few services. A practical first online presence.
  • Landing page — one service or offer explained in a single journey ending with an inquiry. Useful for a dedicated advertising campaign.
  • Corporate website — separate pages for services, company information, projects and the team. Helps buyers compare several business areas.
  • Catalog — product details and a quote request. A cart and online payments may be absent; agree on this before development.
  • Online store — a catalog, cart, checkout, delivery options and an agreed payment method.
  • Portal or customer account — user roles, request history, documents and integrations. Estimate it after documenting the workflows.

Compare what each quote includes

Ask for the page and section list, product count, editing method and integrations. Establish who supplies photos, copy and translations. Georgian, Russian and English need complete versions, including checked navigation, forms and mobile layouts.

HTML suits content that changes infrequently and is maintained by a specialist. Tilda can make editing easier, but its platform subscription is a separate expense. Choose around the way your team will maintain the website.

For a store, distinguish orders sent to a manager from online payments. Agree on the bank or payment provider, connection requirements, fees, delivery and stock updates. They are separate pieces of work.

Budget for the first year and renewals

Add development, domain registration, hosting, paid platforms, mailboxes and support. For a monthly package, check the contract term, total commitment, change allowance and handover conditions. Compare one-time and monthly offers with the same scope.

The business owner should have access to the domain account. Agree on who handles renewals, backups and restoration before launch. SSL protects the connection; it does not replace these responsibilities.

Prepare a brief for an accurate quote

  • The website goal and main customer groups.
  • A proposed structure, languages and approximate product or service count.
  • Available copy, photos, logo and useful design references.
  • Inquiry or ordering workflow, integrations and editing requirements.
  • Launch date, budget and post-launch support expectations.
